Dr. Steven Moore, D.C. - Naperville Chiropractor
Dr. Steven Moore was born in Kansas City, Kansas then moved to Michigan while in high school, trading the endless waves of grain for the waves of Lake Michigan. During his time in Michigan, of which he now considers home, he developed a love for water sports (and yes, you can surf on Lake Michigan), long-distance running, and cultivating a desire to become a physician. Dr. Moore is a recent graduate of National University of Health Sciences and is currently working on his doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine (specializing in herbs and homeopathy), helping patients to achieve their desired level of health through bridging the musculoskeletal system with other systems of the body. Prior to becoming a member of Physical Medicine Associates (PMA), Dr. Moore spent 3 ½ years as a student, studying the fundamental concepts to Medicine and Chiropractic, teaching CPR, serving as a tutor for anatomy, starting and acting as President of the Student Association of Integrative Medicine which brought together many different disciplines and topics for presentation to the student body. He also served as a board member for Integrate Chicago which included working with RUSH, UIC, Loyola, and Midwestern medical students to educate them on Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Prior educational experience includes undergraduate study at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska earning his B.A. in English Literature with emphasis on Irish Literature. In addition, he spent 4 years in clinical research and clinical practice in Allergy and Immunology at Creighton Medical Center. Dr. Moore offers a wide range of programs and services – from Power Plate training, infra-red therapy, and manual medicine to nutritional counseling, homeopathy, diet counseling, and those services provided by a primary care physician.
